Gault&Millau's review2026
Somewhat unexpectedly, this is the new hot spot on the long Rue Lauriston. As an annex to the traditional meat-focused bistro right next door, this “seafood” concept might have raised a few eyebrows among the regulars who love the andouillette next door. In practice, however, it’s a solid spot—professional and affordable—with a well-varied menu and clear attention to detail in the preparation: a good dozen parsley-crusted razor clams in a well-seasoned broth for €15, fried calamari, sprats (spelled like “Spritz,” but we’ll let that slide) and potato pancakes, a very respectable coulibiac—served like a turnover—with a delicious sauce, and classics like sole meunière or linguine vongole. The dining room fills up quickly; there’s a wide selection for both light and hearty appetites, and the seafood theme is well executed. The young staff is attentive, though the wine list is a bit less exciting—fairly standard.
