If Pachamama seems to be watching over this table with its slightly South American decor, Patxa immediately takes us back to the Basque country, and the whole expresses a youthful spirit. Lise and Nicolas Bouchard's restaurant is one of the city's most popular eateries, with its dynamic, contemporary dishes and arty atmosphere, perfect for a lunch out on the town. The €24 menu offers excellent value for money, and regularly features new recipes: butternut velouté, ras el hanout cream and croutons, cod, sweet potatoes, seasonal vegetables and aioli, pork belly, steamed cabbage pontoise and corn polenta grand roux, pistachio brownie and dulce de leche. Good service.
