Patachée, our grandmothers' potato and chicory salad from Anjou, is still on the menu, this time accompanied by a poached egg, at this elegant restaurant just a stone's throw from Angers. The chef, who spent more than 15 years working alongside the emblematic Gérard Bossé, invites us to take a gourmet stroll around well-executed local products, such as this terrine of free-range pig with guinea fowl foie gras, or this roasted veal sweetbread with Séchuan pepper. A chic bistro atmosphere reigns both in the kitchen and in the dining room, and the wine list alone is worth the detour: well advised by the owner, you'll be able to enjoy wines that give pride of place to renowned Loire winegrowers, all respectful of the living world and faithful to the house motto: "eat well, drink healthily". A restaurant rooted in tradition, with an affordable lunch menu.
