Matthieu Roche and Camille Fromont chose the right name for their restaurant, which the Greeks called "the god of the mountains", in harmony with the many perched villages that make up Marseille. For the past eight years, this chef has been following his own path: mastery of the product, creativity, a touch of audacity and a passion for sharing. The lawyers at the Palais de Justice, just a stone's throw away, have made it their canteen, for lunch at €35. In the evening, the imposed 5-course menu still costs €62, but we're tempted to forgive it when the multicolored carrot carpaccio with hazelnut butter purée, turmeric and naan appears, followed by a tartlet with parmesan, fennel, spicy sausage, mussels, almonds and salicorne.. The menetou-salon 2023 domaine Philippe Gilbert accompanies the impeccable monkfish steak with celery bergamot and bouille jus, which precedes a farm-fresh duck breast with broccoli and roasted cabbage, combined with a satay condiment scented with garlic, cinnamon, peanuts and coriander, which is also found in the lemon curd with creamy yogurt, montécao, roasted pine nuts and kiwi sorbet. Camille Fromont takes pleasure in drawing from her attractive wine list to match the chef's cuisine.
