Gourmet Restaurant Strollers through Troyen's superb town center, with its timber-framed villas, will be well inspired to discover this new house, accessible from the street, but also via its courtyard-terrace in the ruelle aux Chats. Charm and curiosity are the hallmarks of the work of Baptiste Gautier, a native of Orne who moved to Aube to follow his wife Domitille, who offers a light-hearted menu for lunch at €23 (snail tartlet, miso cod eggplant back, cherry clafoutis) and plates to share in the evening on a variety of themes (iodized, vegetable, meat...). The execution is good-natured and still open to improvement, the chef's bread is top-quality (he began his studies as a baker) and Octave (his son's name) can count on a few other assets, such as the presence of Matthias, who sports his tattoos, but also a great deal of energy and skill in the dining room. The growing cellar features local cider and beer from the Pays d'Othe, good champagnes from the region and a wide selection of wines by the glass.
