Nosso ("our" in Portuguese, the mother tongue of chef Alessandra Montagne) is first and foremost a warm and friendly oasis in the heart of a neighborhood, the Bibliothèque de France, that doesn't exactly shine with gaiety. Here's one more reason, if any were needed, to push open the door of this restaurant where the staff come from the four corners of the globe and come taste this cuisine full of colors and smells: flame-cooked mackerel filet with sauce vierge, confit pork belly, lemon carrot cream, green lentils and fig, cocoa gavottes leaves, chocolate ganache, coriander passion fruit gel and passion sorbet in a sequence that has the good taste to remain accessible. Lovely cellar, staff as dynamic as they are smiling.
