Description

The idea behind Mitao was to create a warm and inviting place. This space is halfway between the Asian canteen where you can enjoy buddha bowls, poke bowls, bentos and grilled ravioli (handmade, using wheat flour, fragrant oil, cumin, sichuan pepper, cinnamon stick, star anise and soy sauce), and the tea room where you can enjoy homemade pastries, raspberry tarts, apple cake, yoghurt cakes and ice creams (also homemade). Herein lies one of Mitao's core values: absolutely everything is 100% homemade and cooked with high-quality, healthy ingredients, free from the glutamates and processed products all too common in Asian gastronomy. The result: it's good for the palate (and therefore for the body), it's fine, gourmet, hearty and beautiful (the ravioli are very colorful!). All served in a cosy setting by Jade and her team, always smiling and friendly. Bon appétit!
