The former home of Marguerite and Auguste Lumière, associated with the name Paul Bocuse, brings together two Lyon legends. The building is truly magnificent, and Mathieu Barat's cuisine is one of good taste. The foie gras with its creamy ginger is a good idea, and the pig's cheek confit with a honey and cider sauce is served in generous quantities. The chocolate heart-cream tart is generous enough to dispense with whipped cream, and the short wine list makes it easy to find your way around.
