At Lulu le Bistrot, the cuisine plays a generous and comforting bistro score, carried out with seriousness and gourmandise. Plates are straight to the point, highlighting well-worked products and masterful cooking, such as the meltingly tasty chuck of beef, designed to warm as much as it satisfies. The clear, well-paced lunch menu offers an efficient, coherent sequence of dishes, ideal for a pleasant, gourmet lunch break. The short but coherent wine list focuses mainly on the Loire and Beaujolais regions, with a few references to Burgundy and Champagne. Service is attentive and natural, in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Particularly attractive value for money at lunchtime, with genuine generosity on the plate.
