Gault&Millau's review2025
Hyères residents know the Lido Beach well. Just off the main traffic arteries, this charming hotel was taken over in 2018 by Philippe and Patricia Dias. The latter is already at the helm of La Passerelle in Marseille, and now she's breathing new life into this pleasant beach restaurant. Opposite the Iles d'Or, young chef Laurette Rebufa offers high-quality Mediterranean cuisine using local produce from the Var region. Of course, the sea is in the spotlight with fillet of bass, parmesan cream, polenta and fresh herbs, and octopus tentacles with grill, hummus, herb pancake, tomatoes confit with balsamic and garden purslane, before the strawberry-mascarpone "tarte cassée".
