On the heights south of Villefranche-sur-Saône, this beautiful contemporary house with bay windows offers an absolutely breathtaking view of the surroundings and the city, as pleasant by day as it is by night. Chef Julien Valençot's beautifully crafted, bourgeois cuisine, with its attention to detail and noble products, is a must. From €22 to €61, the menus offer good ideas on the French tradition: half-cooked salmon in a charcoal and sesame seed crust, pea royale with soy sauce, roast breast of free-range poultry on the skin, pressé of confit vegetables with savory, muesli with black olives and sun-dried tomatoes... A well-stocked cellar with around 80 references, notably from the Beaujolais region.
