To climb Fourvière hill by funicular, there are two possible routes: via the magnificent basilica, or on the other side, via the more intimate Saint-Just district, also offering a beautiful view of Lyon, and where you'll find the Fourvière hotel and its table Les téléphones. There are handsets next to each table with a direct line to the kitchens for ordering, although service can also take care of this, in this room of the former cloister offering a beautiful view. Chef Thibault Hostiguian offers a very Lyonnais panorama, with his frog cromesquis and pike quenelle with impeccable Nantua sauce. We won't dwell on the desserts, which are a notch below our expectations, but we'll still enjoy this very pleasant moment.
