Gault&Millau's review2025
At the gateway to the Vexin region, this splendid chateau complex of three mid-19th century buildings is now the setting for a 3-star hotel of the highest standard, with spa, swimming pool, large wooded park and a gastronomic table that looks quite impressive, with a ceiling entirely planted to create a tropical atmosphere. Remarkably designed, the room combines wood, marble, copper and greenery, with strikingly exotic hanging plants. The menu is wiser, offering typical French gastronomic cuisine, well suited to hotel service, and perfectly executed, with foie gras mi-cuit, apricot and bitter almond, turbot on the bone, green asparagus, tomato bonbon and Dugléré sauce, supreme de volaille de Challans, blettes à la ricotta pearls, pommes dauphines and poulette sauce, or pralin forestier, Valrhona cream and sponge.
