Gault&Millau's review 2026

Chefs come and go, that's the law of the market today, and this Loire institution has experienced a lot of turbulence over the last few years, to the point where we won't give the current name for fear of being out of date on publication. This is all the more of a pity as we recently had a perfectly decent meal there, worthy of this prestigious venue. Taste and precision, like the confit leek, soft cuttlefish and Aronia berries, enhanced by a crème de cassis jus, or, at the end of the meal, the "babamisu", which mixes two great classics, with an imbibed cookie lacking depth, but a delicate mascarpone cream and a green coffee ice cream to great effect. A fine wine list, with a wide choice by the glass from €15.
