Gault&Millau's review 2026

North of Gramat, between Rocamadour and Padirac, a stone house with a green awning signed "Le voyage d'Ernestine - produits d'ici et techniques d'ailleurs". For the record, Ernestine owned the place in the XXᵉ century. Robin Cannard and Célia Picoulet (she, originally from the Lot) joined forces with Célia's brother, Adrien Picoulet, a butcher by training. After working for the Ducasse group in Australia, Japan, Monaco and Paris, they returned to Quercy to work exclusively with local ingredients in their own way. All this in a delightful, spacious, wooded setting, with service of a rare professionalism, contagious enthusiasm and a remarkable wine list, put together by Célia.
