Gourmet Restaurant Taken over in June 2023 by a young chef, following the departure of Charlie Ray and Mélanie Legrand (they have opened a new restaurant in Saussignac, Mélange), the establishment has nonetheless retained the good humor and sense of welcome that keep it so busy. The little table at the entrance to the medieval center has the charm of a neo-bistro, with uncluttered furnishings in a period setting of large, whitewashed stone. The chef has returned to more simplicity than his predecessors, with effective compositions from the market, presented on a slate menu: gravelax salmon, cooked and raw beets, cardamom, saithe with nori seaweed, creamy polenta with preserved lemon, virgin corn with herbs and popcorn, lemon meringue pie, hazelnut shortbread, lemon curd and lemon ice cream. Very friendly service.
