It's impossible to pass through the Morvan without stopping off at this legendary 3* hotel, an essential stopover on the Mitterand tours. The former president's favorite hotel is also an opportunity to enjoy regional cuisine, well put into practice by Gaétane Harrault. On the menu, a soupière of Burgundy snails with garlic and parsley cream, chorizo-crusted cod, roasted mozzarella tomato and eggplant caviar, grilled duck breast with red berries and Anna apples, and a paris-brest-style éclair craquelin. The hotel's rooms come highly recommended, especially the famous Room 15 (book in advance).
