In the heart of true Corsica, in a magnificent setting of riverside, hills and scrubland, this large stone house, embellished over the decades, offers a charming stay. The management has opted for a somewhat convoluted cuisine (asparagus with poached egg and ginger, swordfish ceviche with tiger leche, lamb confit with citrus juice and roasted almonds...), where you'd expect fine roasting and top-quality Corsican products (the cheese plate decorated with its large slice of orange is quite modest) magnified by simplicity. A special mention goes to the location and the young, dedicated, smiling seasonal staff.
