Gault&Millau's review2025
Not far from the train station, this magnificent stone building in the classical style, right next to the "real" theater, is the playground of Flemish chef Lieven Vercouteren, who has been offering his customers well-experienced classic cuisine for years. The menu is well thought-out and well-stocked: doe terrine, boletus velouté with chestnuts, sole meunière and steamed potatoes, turbot fillet with leeks, venison fillet with spices, duck breast and pan-fried mushrooms, or coffee tiramisu. General cellar.
