Gourmet Restaurant North of Orange, at the crossroads of the Drôme, Gard and Vaucluse regions, Audrey and Thierry Bonfante's restaurant is a haven of peace in the heart of Provence, where local produce takes pride of place in graphic, remarkably executed compositions. The place, with its purely local style, white stone and chic country furniture, is home to a generous cuisine (which no doubt owes a great deal to the chef's Gascon origins) that showcases the terroir in well-constructed menus. The €41 menu includes raw marinated salmon with fennel salad, hake steak with salsify boulangère, guinea fowl tajine from the Bazaine farm, and chocolate pot de crème with coffee cappuccino.
