A country inn to the east of Le Mans, Vincent Faucher's restaurant is a fine bourgeois address, with meticulous table settings and well-crafted dishes. The chef cultivates a classic, refined spirit, praising local produce and terroir traditions. The menu features carefully reproduced recipes: sweetbreads and Maine snails in fricassee, vegetable mousseline; filet de saint-pierre meunière served on crushed apple, baby vegetables and bouillabaisse butter; filet de bœuf à la Rossini; baba au rhum and vanilla pineapple compote. Good service.
