Gourmet Restaurant
A 4-star hotel and gourmet restaurant, Domaine de la Chartreuse is above all unique for the absolutely exceptional beauty of this 18th-century château, with its flamboyant preservation and luxury of yesteryear. Remarkably classical in style, you'll find yourself transported back to the time of Louis XV, under crystal chandeliers, milled wood, period paintings and portraits, floral carpeting and the obligatory bourgeois table setting. On the plate, the terroir is brought to bear with great success, as in the case of marbled foie gras glazed with port wine, salt-crusted sea bass, garden vegetables, shellfish and beurre blanc, sautéed beef tenderloin heart, potato millefeuille and onion compote with summer truffle, and a gourmet cart of pastries.
