Gault&Millau's review2026
Located at the gateway to the Landes region, Le Résinier's regional roots are sincere and consistent: locally-bred meats, oysters from the Bay of Arcachon, artisan bread delivered daily. The setting, discreet from the road, is a pleasant surprise, with its paved terrace and century-old vines. The cuisine defends a South-Western tradition revisited with seriousness. The daily menu offers generous dishes made with carefully selected produce, supported by a true market reflex and seasonal sensibility. The pistachio cream, lightly sweetened and technically mastered, confirms a certain expertise in pastry-making. The drinks menu is a particular highlight: a serious Bordeaux selection with a Pessac-Léognan orientation, well-constructed spirits, and a rare Armagnac list of over 100 vintages, perfectly in tune with the region. An endearing, generous and honest local restaurant.
