Gault&Millau's review 2026

Not far from Bourgoin-Jallieu, in l'Isle-d'Abeau, a classic inn with a distinctly bourgeois style. The lovely terrace and large, pleasant dining room are a fine setting for the dishes of chef Dominique Ducrettet, who sometimes gets a little lost in his balance and cooking. We'll find a rouget-barbet à la flamme, spring vegetables and lemon ginger gel, a Beaufort trout, amaranth and spring vegetables or a duck grilled with Annoisin-Chaterlans honey, pomme miette and mushrooms. The highlight of the meal: a dessert that welcomes summer and gourmands, or how to keep it simple and tasty with roasted apricots from the Agnin orchards, spruce bud infusion and granola. Lunch menu at 36€ and a fine wine list.
