Gourmet Restaurant In a small pedestrian street near Place Graslin, Fréderic Chiron offers a friendly bistro-style cuisine, respectful of produce and the season; the shellfish escabeche is beautifully presented with a fine seasoning, while the cod steak with its tangy sauce vierge is enjoyed around a piece of grilled eggplant, green beans and wheat ; his training as a pastry chef is evident in a subtle dessert based on chocolate in several textures and orange segments; at lunchtime, the 24-cover dining room is lively and friendly; the €23 menu, which changes every week, is a real bargain in the heart of Nantes, especially as the wines by the glass, most of which are organic, are the fruit of careful research.
