In the heart of a small town, Le Nouvel Air is a place for lovers of authentic, inventive cuisine. Opened in 2024 by Audrey Banchereau and Kylian Jantet, the restaurant reflects the passion of its founders, who met on the benches of the Niort CFA and were enriched by international experience. The concept? Traditional French cuisine, enhanced by a touch of creativity and a deep respect for the seasons. "It's an elaborate, fresh and homemade cuisine", explains the Chef, who is committed to short supply chains. When the season allows, vegetables are also sourced directly from the couple's kitchen garden. At lunchtime on weekdays, a workers' menu is offered with a starter and dessert from the buffet. The daily menu (€14.90) revisits local classics with finesse: boeuf bourguignon, pot-au-feu, navarin d'agneau... The à la carte menu features more elaborate dishes, such as dried beef cannelloni with fresh goat's cheese, beet and crudités. With its friendly, family atmosphere, Le Nouvel Air is a place to live, share and enjoy!
