Gourmet Restaurant Skate, sole, julienne, plaice - these are the fish from the Normandy fishery that we like to find on a Trouville brasserie plate, instead of skrei or salmon... In the midst of so many false promises in Trouville and Deauville, this Noroît makes its own, with complete transparency and honesty. The owner, the manageress and the friendly waiter are no longer old enough to run like Top Chef, and yet they do the job with great enthusiasm, self-sacrifice and solidarity, just to please those who visit them. Both the dining room and the terrace are often packed, and it's not just the prices that explain the crowds: the garlic and basil clams, like the mussels marinière, are generous and fresh, the julienne with chorizo cream or the local solettes, like the veal chop à la Normande, are a delight that deserves a chef's hat. Small cellar with a few wines by the glass.
