Bocuse's most central and perhaps best-known brasserie. And never a disappointment, or even a recrimination. The menu changes little, but the work is clean and sincere, and the service is highly professional, restoring the inimitable atmosphere of this institution. For a first visit, plunge into the classic world of salade lyonnaise, œuf meurette, andouillette Bobosse à la moutarde, blanquette de veau, quenelle de brochet homardine, foie de veau à la lyonnaise... Sauerkraut, for another day, is also a good idea, and the Beaujolais is always by Duboeuf. That's what loyalty is all about.
