Arnaud Sanchez doesn't just offer a convenient table on the banks of Saint-Estèphe's great pond, but a true bistronomy experience in a bucolic setting. Notably a former Alain Gardillou, the chef champions well-calibrated menus, from efficient lunches to elaborate dinners: beef tartare and langoustine carpaccio with crisp, iodized condiments, half a squab roasted on the trunk, a crispy tartlet with confit thighs and abatis, Jerusalem artichoke and hazelnut, a rum baba with apricots and pistachio. From €25 to €65.
