Chef's Restaurant There aren't as many toques as there used to be? So what? There are still two, and they are both solid and well-deserved, without being too expensive. The spacious, well-shaded terrace, overlooking the Ouvèze river, has retained all its magic, and the cuisine takes on lovely southern accents under the leadership of Jérôme Blanchet, former chef at Crillon le Brave: low-temperature organic hen's egg on brioche toast, veiled peas with lard in Choron sauce, roast duckling fillet with nectarines, grilled cébette and Drôme delicacies with fleur de sel, Crestet strawberries, pistachio cream and almond streusel for a masterful, gourmet and affordable whole (€35 for this lovely menu, a bargain in the area).
