A well-kept house, with a neo-rustic bourgeois setting and an engaging welcome that gives a chic, family-style feel to the whole experience. Laurent Dufour masters the traditional and regional repertoire, adding a few twists of his own each season: fondant de paleron de boeuf et royale de foie gras chutney beet rhubarb, filet de turbot pané au maïs soufflé croustillant d'emmental royale parmentière aux morilles asperges et jus xérès, vacherin glacé framboise groseille et miel for a very tasty sequence on the à la carte menu, offering choice and making you salivate. The Gourmet menu at €42 is a good choice, and the cellar is rich in Burgundy, and Côte Chalonnaise in particular.
