In this magnificent medieval village on the banks of the Lot, on the via Podiensis, this Méjane is a faithful companion, open since 1980 and now run by Lionel Fouisnet and Simon Piefort. Chef Simon follows in Philippe Caralp's footsteps, offering traditional cuisine of a high standard, masterfully prepared and well presented. There's a fine cep and market leaf tart with walnut oil, peach return with capers and Swiss chard in two varieties, duck breast and endive stuffed with caramelized red onions, and quince tatin flavored with honey, yogurt and nougat ice cream. Meticulous service.
