Gourmet Restaurant A serious business in which you can have confidence: for a good ten years, this Mastroquet hasn't disappointed us and, with every visit, brings comfort and good humor. With a meticulous attention to detail to every detail, starting with the plate, in an equitable menu just under €40: snails with homemade garlic butter and mushrooms, veal mignon with honey juice and Touraine anise, brioche perdue with fruit compote and chantilly (or the excellent cheeses from Rodolphe Le Meunier, which is right next door under the halles). Good choice of wines by the glass, a dry Vouvray or an organic Saumur at €6.
