On this square on the banks of the Doubs, just past the Porte Rivotte, the 18th-century armory is now a fine dining establishment run by Jean-Charles Lavier, serving bistronomy with a fine allure. Good value for money, with a solid, traditionally-inspired cuisine: mushroom and morel crust, snails with herb butter and celery mousseline, Franc-Comtois pork chop with mustard and Comté gratin, strawberry rhubarb puff pastry.
