Chef's Restaurant A hotel in the center of Montmorillon, on the banks of the Gartempe, run by Fanny and Alban Galpin. The house's main selling point is, of course, its table, which is visited from all over the region, with elegant dishes prepared by a professional. The chef's cuisine is based on the finest produce and traditions, well suited to special occasions. On the menu, Breton lobster cromesquisite with goat's cheese, samphire and wakame, scorpion fish and calf's head in two textures, gribiche sauce, sweetbreads, garden nomads, garlic and parsley butter, asparagus, Breton shortbread with Penja pepper, smoked goat's cheese and Valrhona guanaja dark chocolate mousse. Formula €49.
