In the midst of the seven hills of Montenach, the Domaine de la Klauss***** is one of the Moselle's most beautiful hotels, an exceptional Relais & Châteaux, and therefore owes it to itself to have a table worthy of the place. Chef Benoît Potdevin keeps his promises, with a cuisine both close to his roots and able to meet the demands of an international clientele, who will be tempted by the soft-cooked Arctic char, celtuce from the Domangeville farm, tangy elderberry vinegar condiment and beurre blanc, black angus beef chuck smoked with vine shoots, compressed potatoes flavored with beef cecina, full-bodied jus and condiment in the spirit of a béarnaise, a dessert of gariguette strawberries, basil-infused cream, strawberry confit and blanc manger spiced up with basil, strawberry sorbet. Wine cellar up to scratch.
