Chef's Restaurant It's a mythical image of the gastronomic capital that people come here to seek, nostalgically, to live a moment in the shoes of Sarah Bernhardt or Victor Hugo. If you're looking beyond the museum side of things, Le Grand Véfour is a reasonably priced, well-placed restaurant where you can come every day and explore the weekly menu: Tuesdays for poultry terrine, pike-perch on soya skin and snow peas, chocolate tart, and Thursdays for tandoori monkfish and Paris-Brest. The full menu costs €68, and the à la carte menu offers other classic dishes.
