Gault&Millau's review2025
In this retro bistro, with its old tiles and counter, customers are elbow-to-elbow to discover Benoit Gauthier's cuisine. No fuss, just simple, well-crafted dishes, with no big surprises: homemade fish rillettes and herbed pistou; herring with mustard and avocado guacamole; salmon back cooked on one side, pan-fried Brussels sprouts; saddle of lamb browned in a sauté pan and its jus; seasonal fruit salad. Fine cuts of meat for two, with knife-edged fries. The wine list is more attractive, with "bio" and a page called "derrière les fagots". Friendly, relaxed staff.
