Gault&Millau's review 2022

The solid-gold location of this large building on the beach, facing the ocean and the surfers, justifies the commercial and modernization efforts. Everything seems to be in order, the shelves are ready, the message is delivered with efficiency: "We no longer have a menu, like Monsieur Etchebest for example, we only work with the menu, which changes every day." As is the case for many French people, we'd be tempted to add... The offer is therefore quite simple, and inexpensive at lunchtime, the execution, on creamy mussels (too many broken or closed) and oysters in hot-cold before a modest pear and financier dessert adjusting to a correct standard. In addition to the panoramic views, the restaurant's strengths lie in its well-sorted, regional wine cellar, advised by a well-informed sommelier, Léo, and by the young, dedicated and committed service team (Marie).
