Gault&Millau's review2026
It's a renewed pleasure to return to Frédéric Dupont's fine table, just a stone's throw from Place Royale. It's a place with a familiar style, with its zinc and wine racks, evoking the bistros of yesteryear and the pleasures of gathering. Its menu celebrates tradition above all, with a few modernist touches here and there: melon ice soup with sweet spices and country ham breadsticks; green asparagus royale with marinated king prawns, pomelos, red onion pickles, radishes and arugula; filet de maigre a la plancha with maple syrup sauce; beef whiting with green peppercorn sauce; peach ice soup with verbena, pink cookie slivers and peach sorbet. Well-stocked cellar.
