Gourmet Restaurant Frédéric Dupont has good ideas and good vibes, and he handles tradition to his liking in this welcoming place, just off the beaten track and easy to get to. The €29 à l'ardoise lunch menu has its fans, but it's on the ever-appealing menu of familiar flavors that the chef expresses himself best: green bean salad with Reims ham sucrine and summer truffle shavings, filet of st. Pierre buttered with ginger and yuzu seaweed, duck breast cooked at low temperature then roasted in a hearty raspberry vinegar jus. The same wide choice of desserts from pastry chef Thomas Chausson.
