On the Savoie border, below Lake Annecy, this splendid wooden chalet in picturesque mountain style is both a hotel and a gourmet restaurant, of a rather bourgeois standard, both chic and warm. The kitchens deliver a plate of produce, in simple but satisfying compositions, such as white trout ceviche, arctic char and crispy risotto, or lamb in two ways, thinned out with melting apples, zucchini and tomatoes. Well-equipped cellar for all vineyards.
