Gault&Millau's review 2026

The Potel family's Cappeville is quite something! It's like a monument in the long history of Gisors. The rural aristocracy have all dined here, from one generation to the next, and the party goes on. The menu has been refined over the years, becoming more modern and lighter, but the good products remain and are well treated: skate with hazelnut butter, roast pigeon with mashed potatoes, and the signature dishes, beef mille-feuille, sole with artichokes and calva soufflé.
