It's nice to find such a friendly restaurant in this pretty Savoyard village, high up between Annecy and Chambéry. The place is modern yet retains the traditional air of a good inn, and the menu is very much of its time, with chef Enzo Duchesne showing an undeniable facility for dressing seasonal vegetables: roasted scorsonera squid with leek oil, roast poultry with cime di rapa mushrooms and celery purée with tagetes oil, and a good dessert of chocolate and Piedmont hazelnuts. Complete sequence at €35, blind menus in 5 or 7 courses, punctuated by the inevitable "let yourself be guided by the chef's creativity"...
