Centrally located yet quiet, this well-run bistro has a large number of regulars who appreciate its cozy atmosphere and warm welcome. In the kitchen, the style is clearly “bistronomic,” featuring an interesting à la carte selection and well-crafted set menus: Cancale mussels with fennel mousseline and chorizo cream, yellow chicken ballotine with oregano and mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, mushrooms with pommeau cream, poached apricots with vanilla diplomat cream, and apricot-thyme sorbet—all part of a great set menu for €35. For drinks, try a glass of Quincy or Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil.
