Just a stone's throw from the gates of the Jardin du Luxembourg, this cosy bistro is the stronghold of Mathieu Techer, a former chef at Senderens and the Sergent Recruteur. In tune with the times, and well-versed in the traditions of yesteryear, the table is not just for senators and tourists, but also welcomes a well-informed clientele, who are well aware of the chef's savoir-faire. Pan-fried wild mushrooms, perfect egg and mushroom espuma, duck breast with apicius spices (for two), Auvergne pig chop, roast eggplant, eggplant caviar and roast jus, vanilla millefeuille, provide a fine overview of this seasonal cuisine.
