Soon sold, soon taken over, the Bistrot des Arènes reopened at the beginning of the year, much to the delight of regulars. They're back, not to the "bouchon" cuisine of the past, but to honest traditional cooking in a family atmosphere: leek vinaigrette, mayo egg, friand à la brandade, braised pork chuck, blanquette de veau riz de Camargue... A mention for starters, while waiting for the toque.
