In this small village to the west of Montauban, you'll find the flavour of Constant, who offers fine south-western cuisine in the warm, bourgeois setting of a former lock keeper's house. The formula is effective and has earned the address a legitimate reputation. Chef Christophe Marque's traditional dishes include mimosa eggs, crispy hake with almonds, baby spinach and diced lemon, calf's head, poached tongue and brains, caper ravigote sauce, and Christian Constant's famous chocolate tart. Fair prices.
