A neighborhood eatery well worth the detour, an old-fashioned bistro with red banquettes, wood panelling and a large, curved counter. The welcome is simple but friendly, and chef Matthieu Garrel offers traditional cuisine with a few personal touches. Dishes are presented on a large slate and two formulas are offered at €45 and €65, the latter in 5 courses. Gourmet salmon ravioli, seaweed royale, then a melting beef cheek pot-au-feu style and, to finish, a beautiful freshness, sabayon and clementine sorbet. Japanese-style oysters and foie gras with cockles are just some of the signature dishes popular with regulars. To accompany these dishes, a wine list features wines by the glass, including a Colombo Côtes-du-Rhône.
