French and, to a certain extent, Alsatian traditions are well respected, and lovers of real, solid cuisine will find what they're looking for in this contemporary bistro, which is only remotely interested in fashions and prefers to concentrate on its heritage. You'll appreciate this delicacy and generosity, in the snails or sweetbread terrine, sauerkraut, shoulder of lamb and baeckeoffe made to order. For dessert, no kougelhopf, but a brioche perdue with beer and ice cream, to be ordered at the beginning of the meal.
