Gault&Millau's review2026
In the heart of the Landes region, the Domaine d'Uza is a special place, owned by the famous Lur-Saluces family. Attached to their land, the family has revitalized the area, first setting up an organic asparagus plantation, then rehabilitating the former forge food store into a tea room and grocery store. The Landes gîtes and the hotel in Contis have been joined by two restaurants, including the Table du Marensin, entrusted to chef Iliès Besançon. Iliès Besançon has developed a personal and convincing take on the region's terroir, with two menus in four and six courses, starting at €54.
